Here is a short and easy recipe that is both sweet and savory and yummy! Oh it’s also super quick. Here’s what you’ll need:
♥ A pan
♥ Cooking spray such a PAM
♥ Apricot preserves
♥ Bread ( your choice, but I used a regular ole whole wheat)
Havarti is a semi soft danish cheese. It’s one of my favorites. It melts beautifully. Its got a semi sweet taste to it and is a nice complement to the Apricot preserves. Here is how you make your own.
♥ Slice 1 to 2 slices of Havarti cheese
♥ Spray a non stick pan with cooking spray
♥ Take two slices of bread. Spread apricot preserves on one side of bread. Take the cheese slice(s) and sandwich between the two slices of bread
♥ Cook on both sides on low heat until bread is golden brown and crispy and until the cheese has melted.
